Was genuinely surprised by the overall quality of these pants. Hours honestly doesn't do their clothes justice with the limited pictures they provide. The pants feel double lined in a good way, but are only one layer. They’re stretchy and fit well. The pockets have a smooth zipper, the buckle is a nice touch, and overall I’m happy with it.
My reason for removing stars is because the bottom of the pants to adjust the tightness of the cuff difficult to tighten all the way and even when it is adjusted, it looks awkward. Upon tightening, I also busted out the end of the elastic, which was very haphazardly sewn together. The pants would have been fine without this feature, but since it was added, I expected more. Because of the low quality in this one particular area, I won't be using the cuff tightener. It seemed like an afterthought, which is a shame considering how well the rest of the pants were constructed. I also wish the carabiner loop was metal, not plastic, as I can already see it breaking in the future since it looks cheap and flimsy.
I bought these pants to climb and hike in, so hopefully it stands the test of time. Despite these problems, the pants themselves are great, I just think if you're going to include these extra details, make sure they match the quality of the pants.
I’m a 5’8 female with a slender build, usually M, ordered S and it fit well.
